My all done up football cover!

For this cover Iv'e decided to change the image tone of color and to try something different to make the cover stand out more. 

I changed the tone as with the brightness and then I chose the theme to make the magazine cover more interesting turning it more realistic as a painting/sketch. I really like my new cover but I will still try to make a few changes to improve.

Football cover

This is my first idea for my cover for football magazine. As you an see iv'e decided to use the background of a goal and the grass/desert to show and represent what the athlete the magazine is about and also about the athlete. I wanted to try new thing and put some new ideas to do things a bit differently. 

I asked the model to represent himself in what an effective player looks like as I've taken the picture at a low shot looking upwards as if the player is in power on the pitch and that the game is in his hands to show that "he owns the game".

In the picture I wanted the player to look broad and standing tall and with the facial expression serious and with eye contact downwards as if he's looking at his own enemy.

Planned out magazine cover

This is my first draft piece for my planned out magazine cover, still getting new ideas to fit what to add to the cover, it will be based on teens and this mainly aimed at that one and only person based on the masthead. 

The theme of the cover is going to be a spot theme about football. The image is going to be a teenage boy holding a football with the camera angle diagonal facing upwards giving a scent of fierce.

The idea of this is to attract teens to be inspire my this cover, based on about "A TEENS LIFE". 

My first ever mood board

This is my first ever mood board and i did this based on football specifically based on the Barclays  Premier league. I really enjoy watching the BPL  and thought about making a mood board. 

My mood board is a collection of several different football images to show you all the excellence and strengths of each major team which are Arsenal, Liverpool, Man city, Man united and Chelsea.

I want to show the audience how great and how good the English league is and to show all the action with fantastic game play celebration and 

many goals. Its a matter of fact that i try to show the moment of each individual representing their own team to expose the competitiveness of the Barclays Premier League

In this photo we have the lead singer of Paramore. Haley is on the double page spread of her magazine.

The masthead of the magazine is HALEY WILLIAMS IS ON FIRE. the typography of this magazine is using dark bold black letters to attract readers who the magazine is about and to tell readers whats going on.

there is only one ally in the double page spread as the one on the right is overlaing her elbow.

The mode of address is as if she's in shock of her successes and why she's on fire. Her hair is

chosen to have bright reddish brown  hair which is linked  to the masthead.

For this one this is my first sketch for my contents page I've made three columns to make it similar to a news paper and ill be using two pictures, the first one will be a student looking smart and the picture below will be a picture of the Traill building with the logo.

On the left hand side I want to show reader how They can be like the student in the photo showing a good example and making readers to join the school. I also show a photo of the school below to give a good idea of how fascinating it is to be part of Traill and wanting to study because it looks good. 

We have the numbers in the second column to tell readers what the magazine will talk about in the contents page each one will be tell us a different topic about Traill International school.

And for the third column it shows information about the topics giving readers a great scent of confidence convincing them they would want to study here basically it's what's life like at Traill and the behind the scenes.

This is my first draft of my Traill magazine cover. I got it taken outside to show more of the schools background. This photo represents of a good example of what a good Traill student looks like.

This sketch is my first draft for my Traill cover I decided to combine 3 photos relating to Traill to represent sports achievement, study and Traill school students in their uniform

This is my first draft for my Traill magazine cover as a sketch. This photo represents showing good example of the school on how a student is and how good they look being part of the school and also for studying.
Traill logo is added to represent who we are. The Traill logo is added on the top left to give an idea what the school is like and also to show good reputation.
This cover is taken outside of the school to show part of the background of the school as if its environmental instead of having it inside.

KATE UPTON AND DAVID BECKHAM ON SPORTS ILLUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As my third chosen magazine i compared both two completely different magazine. one is based on womens fashion aiming more towards women but also attracting men. on the other side we have David Beckham on the front of sports illustrated.

We can say that Kate Upton is advertising for a fashion magazine. The magazine uses words such as POLAR BARE referring to animalistic as Kate is represented as an object to look good for men where David Beckham is shown as a professional good inspiring athlete as he shows why he's the best and why he's a better athlete than anyone else.  

JAY Z XXL MAGAZINE

Even though this magazine is not my chosen genre I decided to analyse my magazine representing JAY Z XXL. As you can see Jay Z is the front cover of XXL standing as high as the empire state building, could this be related to his hit single saying the empire is on the state of his mind?

Jay Z a very popular male rap artist collaborating with many other famous artist. Jay Z in this photo is shown as a boss as he stands head held high showing why he's the king of rap standing like a boss. The magazine represents how powerful black male artist are however comparing to other sports magazine they show more of aestheticism and showing why they are a better athletes and showing more of their physique and records where black male artist are more of casual of a standing tall pose. we can say that Jay Z is literally bigger than the building and as tall as the sky's. His body language tells us of what kind of a character he is, id say he's more like a gangster wearing dark black leather clothes which means fear or ghetto style.

the colors of the magazine are based on Jay Z Blue print album to give clues to attract reader such as rap lovers to know more about many more exclusive facts interviews and many more.......

The magazine uses a rhetorical question to make it pretty obvious that RAP is bigger than hip hop. Could this be the beginning of rap?
